Parent's Prayer of Thanks
After 16 days, our sons and leaders are home safe. We thank our God above for the wonderful journey and opportunity these young men have had and pray that they carry on their scouting spirit the rest of their lives and share it often with all that they meet.
Psalm 100
A psalm. For giving thanks.
1 Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.
2 Worship the LORD with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
3 Know that the LORD is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his [a] ;
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
5 For the LORD is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.
The world is a better place today.

On the way home
Sure to be exhausted scouts and leaders are winging their way home.
Anxious parents monitor the real time flight tracker. What will happen
when the reach Dallas? Does the adventure continue into the next day or
will they be able to catch a red-eye home?

BWI Weather Map
It's a big storm heading east and south east that you would not want to
fly through. The thunderheads are typically at the leading edge.
