Orange County Patches are HOT!

Every jamboree brings new hot patches that collectors drool over, and the 2010 National Scout Jamboree with its connection to the Boy Scouts of America's centennial celebration has turned up the heat.

"Right now, everyone's looking for the Orange County full set," said Life Scout Travis Harbert, 15, of Greeley, Colo.

"It's a tall order to get that full set," Harbert said. "That's because it includes 10 council strips, 10 surfboard pins, an Order of the Arrow lodge flap and a backpatch."

"I finished yesterday," Harbert said. "It took me three days. I've been offered a whole lot of sets for it. I'm probably going to keep it, but I'm willing to trade for it."

As proof: a 2010 Jamboree Orange County Council 10 JSP + CP Set is currently bidding in eBay for $112.

But that's not really the point of patch trading, is it.
