Parent's Prayer for Wednesday

Enthusiasm and spirit is running high, but a troop of scouts can be like herding cats. SPL, ASPL and Patrol leaders were all duly elected by the boys to lead them on camp activities be they fun or mundane. Scoutmasters watching the boys lead themselves, try to keep their cool and ensure the overall health and safety of the group.

A Scout is Obedient. A Scout follows the rules of his family, school, and troop. He obeys the laws of his community and country. If he thinks these rules and laws are unfair, he tries to have them changed in an orderly manner rather than disobeying them.

Ephesians 6:1-4 (NIV)
Children and Parents
Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. "Honor your father and mother"—which is the first commandment with a promise— "that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth."[a] Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.
